To Whom It May Concern

Re: WeeSeal Cage for Injectable Packing Compounds

The practical benefits of using the "WeeSeal Cage" for injectable packing is documented and known. It certainly eliminates the need for water, previously used for lubrication and cooling, in rotating shaft applications. The broader question is what will the "WeeSeal Cage" do for employment, especially in depressed regions and/or cities?

These depressed areas are low on funds, have an extremely poor tax base, and usually have overextended infrastructures, especially water treatment and sewerage plants. By eliminating the need for water lubrication on the pumps in a distressed area, immediate capacity is freed in the existing treatment plants. This capacity is now available to support new businesses and jobs without the need to build larger treatment plants.

Many Manufacturing plants are presently located in older sections of cities and counties where employment is depressed. These older plants must contend with ever tighter environmental regulations, which puts them at risk of closing, resulting in more job loss. The "WeeSeal Cage" will be a big and inexpensive device for these plants, because it will reduce their water consumption. The lower water consumption means that the tighter environmental restrictions can be met wit a much smaller and probably affordable treatment plant. Therefore, more of these older marginally profitable businesses will remain to employ workers.

Thus, a relatively simple device, has the potential to open jobs in all regions of the country provided the funding can be found to manufacture and market the "WeeSeal Cage". The "WeeSeal Cage" has the potential to help many individuals retain their jobs and also to open up new jobs.
